From Product to Print - How Scribbly Works

Install the app and start the guided setupI
Install Scribbly from the Shopify App Store and open it from your admin. A short welcome screen lays out what's ahead - pick a product, then configure its print zone and features - so you can set up your first customizable product in under two minutes. Hit Let's Get Started to begin
Select a product from your catalog
Click Browse Products and Shopify's own product picker opens. Search your catalog, choose the product (and the variants) you want to make customizable, and add it. You can always add more products later - start with one to get a feel for it.
Draw the print zone on your product
In the blueprint editor, use Draw Zone to place points directly on the product image and outline exactly where customers are allowed to design. Drag the corner handles to fine-tune it, switch to Edit Elements to adjust, or Clear to start over. This single area is what keeps every order printable.
Set your editor constraints
Decide what shoppers can and can't do. Add an optional personalization fee, toggle features like font changes, color changes, stickers, and image upload, and set limits - min/max font size, max text elements, stickers, images, and characters. Choose your allowed fonts and colors, and upload your own custom fonts and stickers to stay on-brand. When it's right, clickSave Blueprint.
Customers design live, and you fulfill the file
Your product now shows a live editor on the storefront, where shoppers personalize within your zone and rules and preview the real result before adding to cart. Each finished design is automatically attached to its order in your admin, so you or your print partner can download a production-ready file the moment it comes in.
