Commerce Story
Edition 1.0 · By operators, for operators
Commerce Story is a closed-door evening for operators, founders, and brand builders; the people in the trenches of growth, not the ones talking about it from the sidelines.
No panels. No pitches. No LinkedIn-safe answers. Just one sharp talk from someone who's genuinely done the work, a real Q&A, and an honest room where people compare notes over food and drinks.
Twenty-odd operators. One table. The conversation that doesn't happen anywhere else.
What you'll take away
- Real operator tactics:what actually drives growth from ₹0 to ₹300 Cr, across every channel.
- The unfiltered truth:trade-offs and lessons that don't make it into case studies.
- Genuine networking:peers building in commerce, and the conversations you won't get elsewhere.

The room
Who these 25 chairs are meant for
Four kinds of operators. If you're one of them, this room was planned around you. Every seat is reviewed before confirmation, operators first.
D2C founders & brand owners
You built the brand and live its P&L every single day.
Ecommerce brand CEOs
You own the whole machine: growth, ops, tech, and the numbers.
CMOs & growth leaders
You answer for CAC, retention, and revenue, not just campaigns.
D2C & ecommerce heads
You run the digital P&L inside a larger brand.
Samriddh DasguptaGrowth operator & entrepreneur · Building a new consumer brand in Delhi
Our guest speaker
He didn't read the case studies. He ran them.
Samriddh has spent two decades building India's consumer brands, architecting growth engines from ₹0 to ₹300 Cr across D2C, marketplaces, quick commerce, and offline, blending data-driven execution with a strong creative sensibility.
As CBO at Arata, he scaled net revenue from around ₹23 Cr to ₹85 Cr ARR, closed a Shark Tank India deal, and helped drive a USD 4M Series A from BOLD (L'Oréal) and Unilever Ventures. Earlier, as CMO at Heads Up For Tails, he helped grow the petcare brand from around ₹180 Cr to ₹300 Cr+.
He believes the artists and craftspeople behind every product are its real backbone, a philosophy that shapes everything he builds. Thirty minutes of that story, real numbers included.

Twenty-five chairs. One honest story. Your move.
We'd rather have 25 operators in real conversation than 500 people scrolling their phones in an auditorium. If that sounds like your kind of evening, take a chair before the bar fills.
